The Sparks Youth Initiative Hub is a 14,000 sq ft sports facility and community centre in the heart of Chelmsford. Free to anyone aged 14–25. No membership, no sign-up forms — just walk in.

Bouldering & climbing wall
8m bouldering wall and top-rope routes, free supervised sessions Tue & Thu evenings.
Conditioning gym
Free weights, cardio kit and a coached strength programme — induction in 20 minutes.
Dance & boxing studio
Mirrored studio with sprung floor for dance, yoga, boxing and girls-only sessions.
A second living room. A shared kitchen.

Pay-what-you-can café
Hot meals, drinks and free toast every morning. No-one is turned away.
